SLOW DOWN AND EXPERIENCE THE ARCTIC
Away from the busy schedules and crowded attractions, this experience is about slowing down and spending time outdoors in the Arctic.
Together with your local guide, we head into the nature surrounding Alta and find a suitable place to settle in. We make a fire, prepare something warm to drink and take the time to enjoy the landscape, the weather and the silence around us.
Rather than simply watching, you are invited to take part — helping with the fire, sharing stories and experiencing a simple form of outdoor life that is an important part of life in the north.

WHAT TO EXPECT
This experience is shaped by the season, weather and conditions on the day. We may visit a quiet forest, a frozen lakeside, a coastal area or another place where we can enjoy the Arctic landscape away from the crowds.
Once we arrive, we settle in and make a fire together. There is time for warm drinks, food, conversation and simply being outdoors. Your guide will share stories and local knowledge about nature, outdoor life and living in the north.
There is no checklist of attractions to rush through. The idea is simple: spend a few hours outside, take part and experience the kind of everyday outdoor life that makes Northern Norway special.
